Those who haven't filed or completed their loss claims from the August 2016 floods that impacted a lot of South Louisiana residents are getting more time to do so.

For a fifth time, FEMA is extending the deadline, this time until December 31st of this year.  The previous deadline was this Friday, with nearly 30,000 claims filed so far.

Normally, claims have to be filed within 60 days of a loss.
