Fire officials in Baton Rouge are set to add a new location and more firefighters with the St. George Fire Protection District.
The department received a $1 million grant from FEMA. It's the second year in a row St. George was awarded the funds. Officials say last year's grant allowed them to hire twenty new firefighters.
Training for a new selected group will begin in the fall.
