A Baton Rouge rapper is arrested on allegations of domestic abuse.

Baton Rouge police handcuffed Webster Gradney Jr., better known by his stage name "Webbie," yesterday at a hotel at the 4900 block of Constitution Avenue.

Authorities said he was on a two-day drug binge when he allegedly beat up on his girlfriend, leaving her with a broken nose and other injuries. Both the victim and Webbie were taken to a hospital for treatment in the incident.

The rapper was booked in the East Baton Rouge Parish prison on several felony charges.
