The Vice President will shake hands today with a man who has been very critical of the VP's boss.
Mike Pence will arrive in Baton Rouge this morning where he'll be greeted by Governor John Bel Edwards. Yesterday, the Democratic governor criticized President Trump's budget proposal for its cuts to Medicaid.
Pence will meet with Edwards and business leaders before speaking publicly at Cajun Industries in Port Allen about the economy and healthcare.
