The city of Central will receive more than $1 million from FEMA for debris removal related to last year's flood.
The latest federal grant will bring the total of federal reimbursements for debris removal in the city over $6 million.
FEMA has paid more than $77 million for debris removal in eligible parishes since the August floods.
