A Baton Rouge mother is in stable but critical condition following a shooting on Lake Lawford Ct. Wednesday morning.
BRPD says the unidentified 41-year-old woman was shot multiple times by her boyfriend, Carl Thompson, Jr., while she was sitting in the bathtub. The two had been arguing before the suspect opened fire.
Thompson surrendered to authorities after calling 911. He faces charges of attempted second degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
