A pipeline fire in St. Charles Parish that started last Thursday night was extinguished Monday.

The explosion took place at the Phillips 66 Partners Paradis Pipeline Station. Six people were working at the time of the fire.

Josh Helms of Thibodaux, a pipeliner with Phillips 66, is presumed dead. Responders were unable to access the area of the explosion as the fire burned. Once the area is safe to access, the St. Charles Parish Coroner's Office will begin its investigation.
