Livingston Parish is joining a class-action lawsuit against the state over the median wall in I-12.
The parish council unanimously voted to join the cities of Denham Springs and Walker Thursday in a lawsuit filed earlier this month seeking damages for last summer's flooding rains.
The lawsuit is also asking the state court to change the design of the I-12 median wall, that's blamed for exacerbating flooding for communities like Walker.
